Overexpression of two versions of KEA3 differentially affects the proton motive force and thereby the regulation of photosynthetic electron transport under stressful light conditions in Arabidopsis, and it is shown that overexpressing the DPGR-typeKEA3 (DPGRox) retarded plant growth, whereas overexpresseding the wild-type KA3 (KEA3ox) did not.
